About The MAC

A premier home for multi-sport athletes.

The Minnesota Athletic Club (MAC) is a premier youth sports organization based in Woodbury, Minnesota — dedicated to the growth and development of multi-sport athletes from 8U through high school elite levels.

Founded by Rich Limpert and Terry Griffith — both former collegiate athletes and coaches — MAC was established to provide an alternative to the early-specialization mindset, promoting the benefits of playing multiple sports to enhance overall athleticism and prevent burnout.

MAC offers comprehensive programs in lacrosse, hockey, and box lacrosse, catering to athletes from 8U through high school elite levels. The club emphasizes a holistic approach to athlete development — focused on skill enhancement, sports IQ, and character building.

Through partnerships with organizations like the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), MAC delivers unique training opportunities and exposure for its athletes. At the core of our philosophy is the belief that sports should be a positive and empowering experience.
